New publication from SCOLED in Journal of Materials Chemistry C
Researchers from Kaunas University of Technology have published an article in Journal of Materials Chemistry C. In this work, a new class of pyrido[2,3-b]pyrazine-based emitters exhibiting thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) with bipolar charge transport is reported. These materials demonstrate high photoluminescence quantum yields (up to 82%) and favorable horizontal molecular orientation – key factors for improving light outcoupling in OLED devices.
The developed emitters enabled OLEDs with external quantum efficiencies exceeding 21%, highlighting their strong potential for next-generation optoelectronic applications.
