New joint SCOLED publication in ACS Photonics

Researchers from the SCOLED members University of Turku (UTU) and Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) have published a joint article in ACS Photonics showing how aluminium nanoparticle metasurfaces can enhance near-infrared thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) by a factor of 2.0 – 2.6, regardless of the electronic strong coupling and without changing TADF dynamics. These insights will help in further designs of metasurfaces for improved light emission by emphasizing on the relevant mechanisms for these improvements.
